Fiesta R1 Build
So the Fiesta R1 build is coming to an end. This is the vehicle we travelled almost 1000miles to build back in May. The Mintex F4R brake pads have arrived after a 5 week wait (and then sent straight onto Denmark!) and the Bilstein suspension has been fitted. Next up was the glass and engine kit – which as you can see are now in. We have included a mock up of the sticker set at the bottom of this post, however we will provide photographs once the car has been to the sign-writers and is complete.
The first event for the car will be on the 15th of August at the Gjønge Minirally in Denmark where it will compete over 60km of stage distance, however there will be a shakedown prior to this to do a systems check. Jon from ShawSpeed will be over there to keep a watch and ensure everything goes as smooth as possible.
You can keep a check on the results of the rally here. We will of course update you after the event with some photographs and videos of the Fiesta R1 in action.
Enjoy the photographs and if there are any questions about the Fiesta R1 Build please don’t hesitate to contact us. MP-Motorsport – Good luck, and here’s to a good successful first outing!
